There are different types of iPhone charging cables, and depending on your iPhone model you need to choose yours. Older iPhones came with either a 30-pin to USB cable or a Lightning to USB iPhone charger cable as well as a USB power adaptor. More recent iPhones do not include a power adaptor but do include a Lightning to USB-C cable. This means you may need to buy your own USB-C power adaptor in order to charge your new iPhone. You may also need to purchase another cable if the one that came with your iPhone does not match the power adaptor you already have.
