TRIGGRRD is an experimental live music collective emulating beats and bass oriented genres like experimental hiphop, trap, footwork, house, and nu jazz. A combination of technology, danceable rhythms and improvisation provides for a new and innovative performance. Sensors on the drums trigger synthesizers and samplers, inspiring live improvisation and compositions. TRIGGRRD gives the audience a unique experience by changing the conventional role of drums through the addition of textures, melody, harmony and samples. Every instrument is an extension and completion of the others. TRIGGRRD strives to make people dance, stretching both legs and comfort zones; pushing the boundaries of experimental and electronic live music.
